    Gearbox Fitment ??

    Not too up on the Tech stuff.Anyone know if a Gearbox from a 77/78 1300 Marina will fit onto an 1800 engine.Cheers..

    Input shafts for a 1.8 and 1.3 are different, spline numbers for the clutch are wrong.

    1984 Marlin Roadster SWB.
    1800TC, Unleaded ported head, stage 2 cam. Ford Type 9 gearbox, Dolomite Sprint rear axle fitted with MGF disc brakes.
    Three core radiator, Renault Clio vented front discs.

        You can use a 1.3 clutch plate. There some trials Marlins that have
