Towbar

Bought a pod caravan to tow with the Berlinetta, ready for next year's rallies. Anyone got a towbar? Or any suggestions where I can get one would be much appreciated. Cheers, Les.

Hi Les, the towbar was an optional extra but would be really easy to make one up.

There are quite a few pics on the Berlinetta gallery that show the basic shape of the tow bar design.

I'm not sure how much a Berli weighs or how heavy your trailer will be but any trailer over 750kg MGW or over half the weight of the towing vehicle must have brakes.

Vehicles first registered after 1st Aug 1998 require a type approved tow bar.
Since April 2009 Tow bars are now inspected as part of the MOT.
