    Marina grease nipple thread

Hi, my bottom grease nipple has exploded with spring hanging out etc. I wish to replace this but I am a bit unsure on Imperial threads. It is a 1/4" but not sure if it is BSF or UNF etc.

    Advice greatly appreciated

    Thanks

    Derek

Can't find the grease nipple on my bottom, maybe it was an extra when I was in production!! ; - ))

Ok, I'm off to sit in a quiet corner in the garage!!

If you don't use the grease nipple on your bottom your trunnions will fall off.

I had 2 Marinas in the 70s - my bottom trunion snapped due to lack of lubrication -not a pretty site - and not popular on busy road.

Doing up classic bikes grease nipple configuration and thread size and type always and issue - eventually I ordered several of every size type and shape 30 quid does it - all I have to do is live to about 600 to use them up
