    Marlin roadster, ykc factory built, not morgan, mg kitcar, red

    'Factory built Marlin Roadster. Built by Yorkshire kit cars Elvington York in February 1996 This car is based on a 1983 Ford Sierra 2.0 DOHC and has a 5 speed manual gearbox.'

          This one was for sale in May with the original wheels. the reg number was EWX 725Y.

                              The paint on this Roadster looks fabulous - I'd love to know who did it, and what they charge, as I would like to paint my Cabrio this year.

                                  If you want to know more about a YKC Sierra Based Roadster there is more info here or there a reprint of an article in Which Kit from 1995 and much more.

                                  1984 Marlin Roadster SWB.
                                  1800TC, Unleaded ported head, stage 2 cam. Ford Type 9 gearbox, Dolomite Sprint rear axle fitted with MGF disc brakes.
                                  Three core radiator, Renault Clio vented front discs.

                                      I see the car is no longer on Ebay max bid was £4295. The reply to the question about the MG badge probably sums up the owner and the price went up!!!
